30th December 2019 — a leading consulting, technology, and outsourcing firm headquartered in the UK, Abacus, today has announced the successful go-live implementation of SAP Business One on HANA for Falcon Group. The implementation will allow the group of companies to transform its business processes, deliver next-gen human capital management using Abacus’s HCMOne, and automation of intercompany consolidation leveraging powerful capabilities of HANA.

With nine companies operating under its umbrella, the group did not have complete visibility across its subsidiaries and sister companies, thus lacking standardization and better controls. Launching the new software is a part of a strategic project to restructure the accounting information system (AIS) of Falcon Group for compatibility with the international financial reporting standards (IFRSs). This project was led by Group’s CFO, Dr Samer H. Alssabagh and sponsored by Group’s Chairman & CEO, Mr Peshraw Majid Agha.
